新西兰技术移民总分不设上限，通过分为100分。但是从2016年11月开始，政策收紧，你必须打够160分，才可以递交EOI意向开始申请。如果找中介，请通过有新西兰移民局IAA牌照的中介。
举例，一个28岁的申请人，在新西兰完成3年的管理专业本科，找到一个奥克兰的经理工作，并且已经工作2年，可以获得以下加分，正好160分：
